As one of the globally recognized symbol of green building sustainability achievement and leadership, LEED Certification is the most widely used green building rating system. Supported by USGBC and GBCI, there are eight main rating systems, all with an abundance of categories and specifications that measures everything from commercial to residential buildings. In addition, the four LEED point systems are Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each one of these levels is achieved after earning a certain number of points in a LEED Certification analysis. Available for virtually of all building and interior types, LEED provides a framework for healthy, carbon-saving, cost-saving, highly energy efficient, for built environment.
